The ASUS DSL-N55U Wireless-N600 ADSL Modem Router works has both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless networks, with up to 600 Mbps total bandwidth. It uses dual CPUs for faster and more stable connections the wired and wireless networking functions each have a dedicated CPU, guaranteeing improved performance. Equipped with powerful hardware NAT acceleration and built-in Gigabit Ethernet, the DSL-N55U gives you full Gigabit internet performance, with a WAN-to-LAN throughput performance of over 900 Mbps.

Two USB 2.0 ports allow the DSL-N55U to share printers and scanners over a network, and it can also operate as high-speed NAS (Network Attached Storage) device when external storage is connected.

The ASUSWRT interface allows quick setup and simplified network management.

Equipped with a powerful hardware NAT acceleration engine and built-in Gigabit Ethernet, the DSL-N55U gives you full Gigabit performance. Its WAN-to-LAN throughput performance is over 900 Mbps, which is more than 4.5 times that of traditional software-based NAT Gigabit routers. This reduces the possibility of bottlenecks on fast internet connections.

The DSL-N55U offers dual CPU performance and flexibility. The wired and wireless network connection each have their own CPU by separating wired and Wi-Fi networking into two compute modules with their own dedicated processor, the DSL-N55U achieves maximum performance for both connection types with no compromises.

Add external storage, printers, and other devices to your network

Two USB ports make the DSL-N55U perfect for file, multimedia, and printer sharing, while ASUS AiDisk offers remote access and content streaming on a wide range of compatible devices.

Robust control and optimization with ASUSWRT

With the ASUSWRT Dashboard, setup, monitoring, and control of network applications are all found in one intuitive user interface. As well as 30-second setup, multi-device detection, and flexible settings that make the most of your network performance, ASUSWRT has been upgraded with special DSL tools that show the signal-to-noise ratio in dB, allowing you to check stability of the DSL connection. The DSL traffic monitor shows the incoming and outgoing traffic on the WAN, wired and 2.4GHz wireless networks, while DSL Feedback allows you to feedback any comments, suggestions or connection issue directly to a technical support team with DSL logs automatically included.

Download and stream anywhere

Download Master and enhanced media server let you download and play multimedia files stored on router-attached USB storage on a wide range of compatible devices such as PC, pad, PS3, Xbox, and smart TV. Download Master can also download files while your PC is turned off, and allows you to manage and monitor download status remotely.
